WEEK 4: The Scrub Mask | Montagne Jeunesse Mask Off Roundup

For the love of scrubs! It's Scrub Mask week here at the Canadian Beauty Bloggers Montagne Jeunesse Mask Off (#CBBMJMASKOFF). Mangos, and apricots and exfoliating, oh my! These fresh fruity scents make me dream of a tropical skincare paradise. Let's see what the other gals thought...

Comfort - 3.5/5
"The crushed apricot was fine enough that it exfoliated without scratching the skin. I didn’t let it dry fully so it didn’t get tight or uncomfortable." - Megan Joy

"It got pretty hard and crusty as it dried, but it wasn't very uncomfortable. Just a little weird, I guess." - Ivory Avenue

"I was expecting this mask to hurt when I scrubbed and dry tightly on my skin. Surprisingly it was actually quite comfortable! The exfoliation was fairly gentle." - Swatch and Review

Aroma - 3.67/5
"This mask smelled fruity and good, but just not as good as the others that I've tried so far." - Chantal's Corner

"The smell wasn’t unpleasant and it didn’t irritate me, but at the same time it wasn’t my favourite scent either." - Nicole About Town

Results - 3.87/5
"This is definitely an abrasive exfoliator. I felt it working quite well when I massaged it in." - Workday Ramblings

"I have been breaking out lately and I have dry patches that previous blemishes left behind. This mask buffed away the dry areas and left my skin feeling great. I would still  suggest doing a patch test if you have sensitive skin though!" - Megan Joy

Ease of Use - 3.53/5
"It was another thick mask so it was easy to apply. Also, unlike the other masks this one had the perfect amount in the package. I used it all and didn't have any extra that I had to toss out." - Just J

"The entire process was fairly simple and mess-free. I just prefer peel-off or sheet masks." - Exquisitely Chic

"Application was a breeze. Removal, on the other hand, was a little tricky… If you didn't moisten the mask enough, I imagine it could get very painful." - Ivory Avenue

Alrighty, so it looks like the Chocolate Mask is still in the lead. There's still the Mud Mask up next week, so we may see an exciting turn of events in the crowning of the mask of all masks... who knows...?
