Suncoat Peelable Nail Polish in Mulberry

Peelable polish isn't just for kids. The light blue of the Hello Kitty Peelable Polish left me wanting more - more colour, more staying power and more opacity. The Suncoat Peelable Nail Polish in Mulberry ($8.99) offers all that and more.

Similar to the Suncoat Water-Based Nail Polish (reviewed previously here), the Suncoat Peelable Nail Polish is water-based, eco-friendly, VOC-free, and made with mineral pigments and natural colorants [tl;dr - safe for children]. The Peelable Nail Polishes are available in 12 shades on suncoatproducts.com and at several natural health food stores such as the Big Carrot and Whole Foods.

What amazes me most is that the Suncoat Peelable Nail Polish in Mulberry looks like your average nail polish in terms of shiny finish and bold colour. Staying power is pretty decent at 3-4 days, while drying time is relatively average. The colour Mulberry is opaque in 2 coats, however I can't say the same about the other colours in the line.

Best of all, the Suncoat Peelable Nail Polish delivers on its peeling properties. Simply scratch lightly at the corners of the nails and the polish will come off in one fell swoop.

Overall, I'm super impressed by the Suncoat Peelable Nail Polish. It delivers everything that a "normal" nail polish could, with the fun, semi-gimmicky removal process of peeling (and no stinky acetone necessary!).
